From the minute I started Bailex I couldn’t put it down! My mom had to take it away from me to make me eat dinner - the story was that good. I can’t wait for Volume 2, I hope it is filled with as much magic, mystery, and action as the first! The story-line was original, exciting, and full of anticipation. Both 12 year old main characters were well-developed and likeable, they were relatable, they felt like friends, and I felt worry for both of the foster children as I was reading.
